- Unbuttered popcorn
- White chocolate chip or white candy melts
- Pink and red or any festive Valentine sprinkles
- Pink, Red & White M&Ms. I got mine at Target, but I'm sure they are widely available

- Pink and Red M&M's
- Sprinkles
- Conversation Hearts
- Chopped up Hershey Kisses
Step-by-Step Instructions
Begin by popping your popcorn as directed on the bag.
Melt your white chocolate chips in the microwave in 10 second bursts making to stir in between. Be very careful not to heat the chocolate chips too quickly or they can cause the chocolate to freeze up. It will be hard, look curdled and be unusable if it freezes.
Pour half of your popped popcorn into a bowl. Pour over half of the melted white chocolate. Use a spatula to stir it to combine.
Pour the rest of the popped popcorn on top and spread the rest of the white chocolate over the popcorn evenly.
Sprinkle in your M&Ms and sprinkles. Stir to combine. Once the white chocolate has cooled sprinkle a few additional M&Ms and sprinkles.
Expert Tips & FAQ for Making Valentines Popcorn
If you want your M&Ms to maintain their color completely, make sure to wait until the white chocolate has completely cooled on the popcorn. If you pour them in while it's cooling the M&Ms will be covered with white chocolate.
Add 1 teaspoon vegetable oil to your white chocolate chips while melting them to help preventing the chocolate from freezing up and to create the perfect consistency for pouring on the popcorn.
