What You Need
- Sugar Cones. You'll want to make sure you get the triangle cones like these ones.
- Frosting. I recommend using a store bought frosting such as Betty Crocker Vanilla. You'll need to add a few drop of green food coloring to color the frosting for green trees,
- Sprinkles and candy. You can pick whichever you like, but I think using sprinkles as lights is very cute!
How to Make DIY Christmas Tree Cones
Step 1. Level sugar cones if they are uneven. This is important to allowing the cones to stand straight upright. Mine came out of the box totally level, so don't worry if you need to skip this step.
Step 2. Frost your sugar cones. Don't worry about being too particular, just make sure your cone is covered!
Step 3. Decorate your tree cone with candies. Make sure you place them on the cone before the frosting hardens.
