Hi friends! I am so pleased to be doing a guest blog post for Blair. We came up with an idea for doing a Halloween blog post to feature on our blogs. I hope you enjoy this simple and quick tutorial on Halloween Cake Cones!
Halloween Cake Cones
I need to make a disclaimer about cake cones, but kids seem like they don't mind the buttercream and cake mix ratio! The cake cones have a slightly more ratio of buttercream than cake mix. To fix this, add more cake mix in the waffle cone or purchase smaller cones for a better ratio of cake mix and buttercream. I cut the cake cone open in half and eat it off a plate to avoid any large crumbs falling. The combination of the cake, buttercream, and waffle combo really makes a delicious crunchy treat! The options are endless for a set of Halloween inspired cake cones!
