How To Make Halloween Cake Cones That Your Kids Will Love

Hi friends! I am so pleased to be doing a guest blog post for Blair. We came up with an idea for doing a Halloween blog post to feature on our blogs. I hope you enjoy this simple and quick tutorial on Halloween Cake Cones!

How To Make Halloween Cake Cones That Your Kids Will Love

Halloween Cake Cones

I need to make a disclaimer about cake cones, but kids seem like they don't mind the buttercream and cake mix ratio! The cake cones have a slightly more ratio of buttercream than cake mix. To fix this, add more cake mix in the waffle cone or purchase smaller cones for a better ratio of cake mix and buttercream. I cut the cake cone open in half and eat it off a plate to avoid any large crumbs falling. The combination of the cake, buttercream, and waffle combo really makes a delicious crunchy treat! The options are endless for a set of Halloween inspired cake cones!

  2. Melt 4oz of candy melts doing 30-second intervals until they are all melted.
  3. Dip the cake cones in a bowl of melted candy melts.
  4. Dip it on the plate with sprinkles.
  5. Put a cake ball in the cake cone. Add more as needed.
  6. Fill all of the piping bags with your desired colors and a 1M piping tip.
  7. Pipe the first color.
  8. Alternate with other colors.
  9. Add some sprinkles.
  10. Dip cherries in the candy melts.
  11. Brush with some edible glitter.
